Japan Relief Fund Update and Freebie Friday

Today, I am giving away this cute little chef.  I always think of Chef Ramsey from Hell's Kitchen, lol, though I will admit I'm more of a Curtis Stone gal, as I watch Biggest Loser.  I've also gotten suckered into America's Next Great Restaurant.  I'll be honest, I'm much more of a baker than a cook.  I love to bake cookies!  What do you love to cook?

Most of you may know that I work for a financial company for my day job. Moneytree has been so generous to match each donation that their employees have given, so I've actually been able to double our amount of money donated.

Through the last couple of weeks, I've sold 65 Rins and that's $325 to be donated from Sparkle Creations. With Moneytree matching that, we'll actually be able to donate a total of $650. With Aki (our illustrator) losing family in Japan, the help and support means even that much more to me. Though it's not a ton, I'm so thrilled that we've all been able to help at least a little bit! I really appreciate the help and support.

You will have until Sunday night at midnight EST to enter and the winner will be announced on Monday with the SCRS Challenge #36 Winner.  I hope you all have a fabulous Friday!

Can't wait for my Rin to arrive! I don't really cook (boyfriend does the cooking) but when I do I like stir-fry veggies.

My blessings to all the people in Japan and Aki and her family :)

Chef Oliver is such a cutie pie. I am more of a baker than a cook. Must come from my love of all things sweet.

Congrats on the success of your sale of Rin for the Japan Relief. As for cooking/baking - I do both. No real fave - although I do like my pasta with pesto sauce (made from basil from my own garden). Delish for a quick weeknight meal.

I'm loving all your SCRS colored images... and I think it's so cute that they're all matchy-matchy with your company colors, lol!

I love to cook and bake anything and everything. Seriously - I could spend all day in the kitchen if there was someone cleaning up after me, lol! That's the part I hate and the biggest deterrent in cooking for my family, haha

Woohoo for the money raised! That was really generous of you Sparkle and wonderful of Moneytree too! Sorry to hear about Anki's family!

I love to bake too! I don't like to cook as much. I think it's mostly because my family will enjoy the sweets and treats but frown when I actually make healthy meals.

Curtis Stone, for sure!! YUM! I was excited to see him on Celebrity Apprentice again. Love Chef Ramsey too.

Cooking-I'm known for my cheescakes. My family and friends always request one for their birthdays. Living with a chef for 4 years taught me some cool cooking skills too!
