Freebie Friday - Out of the Box Cutting

Out of the box cutting is one of my favorite techniques to do, since I use Nestabilities quite a bit.  Today's Freebie Friday is going to be a Charlotte with a Rose stamp. All you have to do is comment and tell me which die is your favorite?  I honestly use Nestabilities Labels 1 and their regular circles the most.  I still haven't taken the plunge, but I really want the Top Note from SU.

The lovely Pam Varnell did a wonderful tutorial on this technique for the Club Anya blog.  Here is the link to the tutorial.   http://clubanya.blogspot.com/2009/12/tutorials-out-of-box-cutting-and.html

My friend Shaela Odd made this adorable Christmas card with Scooter Chloe.  You can see that she kept the rest of Chloe's scarf out of the Nestabilities shape.

You have until Sunday night to comment and I will draw my winner on Monday when I draw the winner for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #7. Good luck!

Pretty Cool Swimming Lucy

It's one of my friend's birthday next week and I made her this card. I am so proud of myself, because I know she is going to be the only one this year to get their birthday card early, lol. While I love the fall season, I don't want summer to end quite yet. It's gonna be Christmas before I know it!

Freebie Friday - Copic Tutorials

I decided over the weekend to start doing Freebie Fridays. I will most likely share something and also give away something.  I will do these every Friday except during release weeks as we'll be typically be doing sneak peeks.

I get asked quite often to do a Copic coloring tutorial. There are a few factors as to why I still haven't, lol.

1. No video camera - I do have a digital camera, but can only record for a very limited amount of time
2. No tripod for my camera
3. I wouldn't be able to con Brent to spend hours filming me to do one...
4. There are already a ton out there that are fabulous.

So, today I thought I would share the Copic tutorials that I learned how to colored with. These were made awhile ago, since I started coloring a couple of years ago. Let me know if you have a newer favorite Copic tutorial video.  These are made from very popular and influential women in the crafting industry.  I'm sure most of you know who Sherri Seimens, Lauren Meader, and Suzanne Dean are.

Today's Freebie Friday is going to be a Surfing Oliver stamp. All you have to do is comment and tell me what you think or feel about Copics.
Here is a lovely card my friend Kim Yu made with Cupcake Ruby.  This girl has got fabulous coloring skills and she's Copic Certified!

Obviously I love and adore Copic markers, but I know they're not everyone's thing.  So please be respectful with your answer even if you don't like them or think they're too expensive. Good luck, I will draw a winner on Monday when I draw a winner for the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps challenge #6.
