Freebie Friday - Halloween

Today is Freebie Friday...and I only have a cute Halloween card for ya, lol.  Though I don't have a tutorial to share, I will still be giving away a stamp today.  The prize this week will be Holiday Emily.  You have until Sunday night at midnight to comment and the winner will be announced on Monday with the SCRS Challenge #16 winner.

Here is another card with Broomstick Lucy.  Though Halloween has never been a big holiday for me, I still wanted to make some of my friends some cards.  Brent and I are going out with friends and dressing up this year.  Our friends picked 'animals' as our theme...so Brent is gonna be a gorilla and I'm dressing up as a black cat.

Paper: Basic Grey Eerie
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Nestabilities, Copics, Pearls, PTI Buttons, Twine, CTMH Ribbon, and Crystal Stickles

Since we're going out on Saturday, I will be home to pass home out candy to the kiddos on Sunday night.  Now that my neighborhood is almost done being built, I hope to have more trick-or-treaters this year.  What are your Halloween plans?

Your images are so distinctive & full of detail - love the frilly party dress with the striped leggings. Lost you for a bit amidst my recreating blog lists from trasnferring from PC to MAC& missed you but I'm back endeavouring to win a stamp to join in with the challenges. So here's hoping & thanks for your generoisty.
Enjoy your Halloween outing - find it easier to cope with the concept of All Hallows Night not really into the dark side of things.

Ohh, my goodness, that Holiday stamp is lovely. What a sweet face (although they all have those) and I love the outfit and candycane in the image as well.

As for your Halloween card, fabulous choice of DP, lovely coloring ... ahh, what more can I say?! Hugs, Kelly

Super cute card Sparkle. I love the bling you added to Lucy's outfit.

We'll be going to a church activity Saturday night to celebrate Halloween and then hand out candy Sunday night.

We have an annual halloween party at my son-in-law's parents' home where everyone brings a "spooky" potluck dish to share and we all dress up and there are games and apple bobbing. Even the grandparents get involved. I do remember one year where the sloppy joes actually GLOWED - she added green food coloring to the mixture and I almost couldn't even eat it because it looked so "alien". Happy Haunting to you and yours!

She's a super fun image, Sparkle. Sounds like you are set for a fun weekend. Tomorrow is a busy day for the girls (and therefore, mom) as Jess has a Brownie Girl Scout function and Amy has a birthday party and her basketball game. All start not to far apart in time and end at about the same time, too! LOL They'll have fun, though! I'll bet you'll be the cutest gorilla and cat duo there!

I always get inspired when I see your work. I am trying to find the time to ink up some Sparkle stamps too.
Happy Halloween!

Love the broomstick lucy - I still have a few hallowe'en cards to make myself! I'll be at home handing out the treats this year - wonder if we will get as many kiddos as last year. 108! This year I even got myself some special effect contact lenses to wear while handing out the goodies!

That stamp is so darn cute. My kids are too old to trick or treat but we love giving out candy and seeing all the costumes.

that stamp is really cute. My son is spiderman for the second year in a row but this year he decided to add a batman cape and matching red and blue socks. He is 6 by the way.

What a darling image! Love it - thanks for the chance to win :) As for Halloween, we live out in the middle of nowhere, and the kids are grown and gone, so it will be just another day for us. I so miss the little ones all dressed up!

Fun card! Love the stitching and extra sparkle! :) We live in a good neighborhood for trick-or-treating and usually get several children stopping by, plus we'll walk around with our own. One's a transformer this year and the other one keeps changing his mind, so we'll see! :)

We had a party last night - dress up was mandatory, or I dressed you at the door !!
there were some amazing costumes, and a ton of food - including vomit (antipasto), festering pus (hot nacho cheese dip), and rat crap (black bean dip) LOL!!!
We had a blast!
Tomorrow we will have friends over, and take turns taking the kids around the neighborhood!!
I love Halloween!

Halloween doesn't really happen in our road anymore - all of the children in the area have grown up! We still buy the sweets though, just in case!
